Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) was envisaged by the Govt. of Punjab in 1999 with a view to establish a Medical College-cum-Teaching Hospital equivalent to the standards of All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), in terms of clinical expertise and top-of-the-line tertiary care. Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences, Jalandhar under the aegis of PIMS Medical & Education Charitable Society is promoted by a group of professionals who have taken up this challenge to provide quality healthcare to the residents of this beautiful city in general and the complete region in particular.
