MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) was started during the year 2002-2003 with annual intake of 100 students. The college has started functioning from 17th October 2002 following admission of 1st batch of students of 100. A 300 bedded multi-specialty hospital that was functioning in the campus since 1992, was attached to MIMS to make it a full-fledged teaching college under Dr.NTR Health University. Today in 2016, the college is in its 14th year and the campus is buzzing with activities, with 650 UG students, 150 PG Students and a thousand others, comprising faculty member and support staff. On an average, about 1100-1200 Out Patients get benefited by medical care provided by the hospital at affordable, subsidised rate.
