Mamata Medical College is the first private, self funded College to have earned final recognition from Medical Council of India as a Medical College, in the State of Andhra Pradesh with an intake of 150 admissions annually. It was awarded A Grade (Very Good) with CGPA of 3.12 on four point scale by the NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL on 31st December, 2009 .Abundant clinical material is available to the students in the attached 900 bed teaching hospital Mamata General Hospital which is within the campus and it is provides free treatment to all out patients and elective inpatients.

To provide primary, secondary and tertiary health care facilities to the poor and outreach people of Khammam and neighbouring districts at free of cost.
