The ESIC Medical College & Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and its attached Hospital & Occupational Disease Centre (EZ), Joka, Kolkata is under the administrative control of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. This Institute is affiliated to The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), Kolkata. It has easy accessibility for the patients and it is well connected by road transport and will shortly be connected by Metro Rail. This is the first endeavor in the field of Medical Education, which is a new dimension in the growth of ESIC.
