The Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University, was founded under the third National Economic and Social Development Plan with the consensus of Khon Kaen University Council at the third meeting of 1971 on Monday 26, July, 1971. The Faculty of Public Health was established to produce public health personnel with the knowledge, capability, academic experience at a national and international level, along with professional morals and ethics, and the ability to apply academic theories in practice and create new innovations for greater efficiency.

The Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University is to be one of the country’s leading institutions among ASEAN Countries.

Our missions are to produce graduates, research, academic services, maintenance and enhancement of arts and culture that are acceptable and respond to the needs of communities and society.

The faculty published its own research journal to create a network of public health knowledge for the alumni, present students, and related public health academics. In the fiscal year 2010, three editions of the journal were published, year 2, volume 3 (Sep. – Dec., 2009), year 3, volume 1 (Jan. – Apr., 2010), and year 3, volume 2 (May – Aug., 2010).
