About the Institute:
The college and hospital are funded and managed by Government of Tamil Nadu. The College was stared in the year of 1997 as per G.O. to accommodate 100 UG Students per year. During the year of 1997 Annal Gandhi Memorial Government Hospital, was attached to K.A.P. Viswanatham Government Medical College, for the purpose of facilitation of good medical education. The college was ranked third by students in counselling in 2010
