About the Institute:
Health is Wealth. To cater to the needs of people in and around Kanyakumari District, the Tamil Nadu Government decided to start a new Medical College at Kanyakumari District. The Government T.B. Sanatorium campus at Asaripallam, Nagercoil in Kanyakumari District was selected as the site for the proposed Government Medical College. The college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and is recognised by the Medical Council of India. The college is now functioning with effect from 16.08.2014 onwards with an annual intake of 100 students.
