About the Institute:
National Tuberculosis Centre (NTC) is the focal point of the NTP. It is responsible for establishment of programme policies, strategy and planning. In addition, NTC also carries out the functions of national referral clinic. Central laboratory at the NTC is the focal point for NTP laboratory network which is responsible for policy and guideline development, training, quality control and supervision. Technical support, monitoring and evaluation, training, supervision, logisti cs, health education, communication, and research are key functions of NTC. Estimation, procurement and supply of anti tuberculosis drugs are key responsibilities of the National Tuberculosis Center
Mission:
To reduce the mortality, morbidity, and transmission of Tuberculosis till is is no longer a public health problem in Nepal.
