About the Institute:
The biomedical engineering (BME) had been cultivated in Thailand for 25 years. At first it was began as device maintenance and calibration activities and confined to some units in the university hospitals due to personal interest. After that there were some electrical engineers paid interest in studying and making medical devices used in intensive care unit monitoring such as ECG (electrocardiography) In 1993 the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC),
